RYAN SKAJEWSKI, ESQ.

Attorney Ryan Skajewski graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, in 2017 with bachelor’s degrees in Political Science, Law and Society, and Economics. He also attended the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. He then earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2021.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ryan worked as a Divemaster in Honduras, an English Teacher in Thailand, and a mountaineering guide in Alaska. After these various careers, Ryan worked as a full-time firefighter and emergency medical technician for the Skagway, Alaska, Fire Department.
Ryan began his legal career in the Deputy District Attorney’s Office, serving as a prosecutor for nearly five years. Ryan primarily served as the prosecutor handling felony cases in Teller County. Through this work, he prosecuted cases as diverse as traffic infractions, domestic violence, and homicides. Ryan joined Moran, Allen & Associates in April 2026, handling family law and criminal matters.
Ryan serves as a member of the American Bar Association House of Delegates, is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the El Paso Bar Association, and the Inn of Court. He is also a member of the Woodland Park Advisory Board for Parks and Recreation, a member of Teller County Search and Rescue, and a Certified Skywarn Weather Spotter.
Outside of work, Ryan can be found hiking, biking, climbing, skiing, and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer.
